It’s interesting to note that Rahm Emanuel made no attempt to hide his missing finger, but Larry Summers sat at an angle that would conceal his double chin.
I think they may well have tried to do various things, but the photographer was probably just clicking away and I somehow doubt they consulted with the people about the final pick. It’s incredibly impressive how young some of the people are, but at the same time, some of the people in their mid-30s look like they’re 50+, which is a bit disconcerting.
