I had even meant to comment, but I guess wasn't really sure what to say in the end. (Getting into the above story seemed a bit out of place.) My parents are academics and we were visiting various schools, usually the state school's flagship campus so now you can guess specific locations: Storrs (UCONN), Austin (UT), Honolulu (UH).
